CMMC and other Relevant Standards, Rules, and Regulations: What do they Mean to My Business 1-27-21

CMMC and other Relevant Standards, Rules, and Regulations: What do they Mean to My Business 1-27-21Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM- Eastern Standard Time [Web Conference]

The Defense Acquisition Federal Regulation Supplement 252.204-7012 (DFARS) mandates that DoD contractors adopt cybersecurity standards that follow the NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity framework. This is the government’s effort to protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) within the U.S. defense supply chain. And the CMMC gives the DOD a mechanism to certify the cyber readiness of defense contractors, as well as their subcontractors.

New Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) clauses were added in 2020 to ensure the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) properly protects Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). The clauses include certification to key cybersecurity standards such as NIST 800-171 and the recently released Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). During this session, we will discuss these standards, as well as other relevant models and tools. We will share tips and techniques for implementation and application to your business.

This webinar can provide you with information to ensure you are cyber ready when doing business in the federal marketplace.
