National Small Business Chambers of Commerce Join Forces to Create the Small Business Alliance of Government Contractors

The Leading Independent Force Advancing America’s Small Business Government Suppliers

WASHINGTON, September 20, 2022 – Today, The American Small Business Chamber of Commerce® and the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce® launched the Small Business Alliance of Government Contractors™ (SBAGC) (http://www.sbagc.org/), a joint council created to give a strong and independent voice to small businesses doing business with the federal government.  SBAGC is the independent force working to open the doors to contracts and assure government accountability for small business suppliers.

“Throughout the last two decades, our organizations have worked jointly, leveraging our scale to drive results and address the barriers small businesses have faced in working with the federal government,” says Margot Dorfman, President of The American Small Business Chamber of Commerce®. “This next level of engagement will provide greater visibility to our members, along with all small businesses, in the Federal marketplace.”

“SBAGC provides Chamber Supplier Members with education and connections, including our new online platform, SupplierPLACE which is a dedicated small business supplier community that provides exclusive on-demand education, resources, and content,” states Charmagne Manning, U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce® President. “It is through member participation that small businesses will gain success in acquiring and delivering federal contracts.”

SBAGC Alliance Members give voice to the hundreds of thousands of America’s small business suppliers, while working to break down barriers to opportunity, make connections, provide access to news and resources for Small Businesses in all socio-economic categories.  SBAGC also holds government leaders accountable and advocates for the advancement of America’s small business suppliers.
